Welcome to the Swedish Pavilion at BIO International

BIO International is the premier global convention for the life sciences, bringing together industry leaders, investors, researchers, and policymakers from every corner of the world. It serves as a dynamic platform for promoting innovation, forging partnerships, and driving growth within the health and biotech industries.

At BIO International 2026 in San Diego, more than 20 Swedish companies – and an additional five Finnish guest companies - will be joining the Swedish Pavilion, ranging from global pharma company AstraZeneca to innovative start- and scale-ups across the broader life science ecosystem. The Pavilion is co-organized by Business Sweden, SwedenBIO, Invest in Skåne, and Business Region Gothenburg, in close collaboration with the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in San Diego, the Baltic-Nordic Health 3-2-1 life science initiative, and the Consulate General of Sweden in San Francisco.

At the Swedish Pavilion at BIO International, companies and organizations will connect, collaborate, and present their contributions to the future of healthcare and biotechnology. Throughout the week, the Swedish Pavilion is hosting several events to highlight Sweden's strength as a life science nation - from ribbon-cutting at the pavilion inauguration, through a Midsummer-themed hospitality reception and an external Swedish evening reception, to several panels on selected topics with Swedish and international speakers.
