With a background in political science, particularly international politics, she has applied her extensive studies in both Sweden and abroad to create an impressive career in journalism and media production.
She is also Chief Communication Officer at the Swedish Novatron Fusion Group working to develop economically viable commercial fusion energy.

Anna Borg is since 2020 the president and CEO of Vattenfall, one of the leading energy companies in Europe. Anna Borg previously held the position as the CFO of Vattenfall. Between 2015-2017 she headed European fin tech player Klarna’s online buying and payment solutions business in the Nordics before returning to Vattenfall for the role as Senior Vice President of Business Area Markets. Before that Anna Borg spent 18 years at Vattenfall and held numerous Business unit management positions in sales including B2C, B2B and industry customers, trading and business development across Europe.
Anna Borg is a board member of the privately-owned holding company FAM AB and Ruter Dam, the Executive Development and Mentoring program for female senior leaders. In 2023 she was named Sweden’s most powerful woman in Sweden and in 2022 CEO of the year (Sweden) and Sweden’s Most Influential Energy Person (2022 and 2023). Anna holds a Master of Economics and Political Science from the University of Uppsala, Sweden.
