Sikander Rashid is the Head of Europe for Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, Mr. Rashid is responsible for overseeing all infrastructure investment and portfolio management activity in the region. Mr. Rashid is also the Head of Europe for Brookfield Asset Management, with responsibility for overseeing the Asset Manager’s business activities in the region.

Mr. Rashid joined Brookfield in 2012 and has held progressively senior roles within the organization.

Mr. Rashid holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants.

Francesco Starace is a Partner at EQT where he provides senior insight to support the infrastructure business line’s investment activity, portfolio companies and strategic initiatives.

With a career in the energy sector spanning four decades, Francesco brings experience from senior leadership positions, advisory boards, NGOs, and public policy. As CEO of Enel, he was instrumental in driving the company’s efforts to phase out fossil-fueled energy production and invest in digital technologies, transforming it into one of the world’s largest renewable energy producers and the largest system of digitized electricity distribution grids.

He is Chair of the Science Based Target initiative, of the Board of the UN’s Sustainable Energy for All, a member of the Rockefeller Commission to End Energy Poverty and served two terms as a member of the Board of Directors of the UN’s Global Compact, from 2015 to 2021.

André Küüsvek (Estonia) took up his position as President and Chief Executive Officer of NIB on 1 April 2021. He holds a Master of Science degree in Construction Engineering from Tallinn University of Technology. He is a graduate of the Estonian Business School and Stockholm School of Economics. André Küüsvek succeeded Henrik Normann (Denmark), who had been President and CEO of NIB April 2012-April 2021.

Before joining NIB, André Küüsvek has been working a Managing Director of Central Asia at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). He has over 25 years of experience in international finance in various positions at the EBRD. Prior to that he worked in leading private banks in Estonia and Germany.

Adam Kostyál has been with Nasdaq for the more than 20 years. He currently is the President of Nasdaq Stockholm and also manages the Listing franchise for Nasdaq in Europe. This includes the Nasdaq Stockholm, Nasdaq Copenhagen, and Nasdaq Helsinki listing offering. In addition he also manages the listing offering for Nordic companies wanting to list or dual list in the US. Prior to his current role Adam held various positions within Nasdaq and prior to this with Cell Network, Bloomberg and Enron. He holds a B.A in Economics and Marketing from Vrije Universiteit, Bruxelles, and speaks four languages including English, Swedish, Italian and French, and is also the proud father of five children!
