Swedish Cities in Action: Mission-Oriented Approaches for Climate-Neutral Cities

Green Transition Initiative and Viable Cities

The objective of the Green Transition Initiative (GTI) is to position Sweden as a key partner to U.S. cities and states in their urban transformation, connect Swedish and U.S. stakeholders, and leverage opportunities in sectors such as mobility, energy, and buildings. GTI is a joint initiative between the Embassy of Sweden in Washington D.C., Business Sweden, the Swedish Energy Agency, and Sweden’s innovation agency Vinnova. GTI invites to this event in collaboration with Viable Cities, is a strategic innovation program with the mission of achieving climate-neutrality in cities by 2030, with a good life for all within the planetary boundaries. The program is funded by multiple government agencies and is hosted by KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. For more information: viablecities.se
