Connect with the Danish defence industry

Foster long-term relationships, explore business opportunities, and identify potential joint initiatives at our embassy event in conjunction with DALO Industry Days.

The Swedish Embassy in Copenhagen and Business Sweden, in collaboration with SOFF and Dansk Industri FOS, invite you to participate in a speed-dating session and networking reception aimed at deepening industrial collaboration in the defence sector. The two activities address key priorities:

1. Securing production and critical supply chains in our defence industries to strengthen resilience and reduce strategic dependencies
2. Contributing to a more competitive and resilient Nordic technological and industrial base through practical cooperation and innovation

DANISH MILITARY SPENDING AT FULL SPEED

Denmark's defence sector is undergoing significant transformations with dramatically increased defence spending and streamlined workflows in the Ministry of Defence Group. The use of direct allocation in connection with equipment procurement should help accelerate the build-up of the Danish Armed Forces’ combat power as Denmark commits to a substantial long-term increase in defence spending, including an emergency fund of DKK 50 billion for 2025 and 2026.

Meanwhile, Sweden is planning the largest rearmament since the Cold War, involving a loan-financed defence investment running through 2035, potentially totalling SEK 300 billion. The need for quick deliveries in a rapidly growing Nordic defence market calls for closer collaboration across our industries to meet demand efficiently.

DALO Industry Days is the largest exhibition in Scandinavia showcasing equipment primarily from the defence industry. This year’s edition emphasises international participation from strategic partners in Europe and overseas, including NATO and allied countries. With a strong Swedish industry presence expected, we aim to strengthen ties between the Danish and Swedish defence sectors by extending the visit with two exclusive activities:

• An embassy reception at the Swedish Ambassador’s Residence on the final day of the exhibition
• A targeted speed-dating session with Danish defence industry representatives the following morning
