
Blue Solutions: Existing innovations for protecting and sustainably managing our ocean and coasts
Business Sweden, in collaboration with the Swedish Embassy, is pleased to invite to a high-level seminar, in the presence of H.R.H The Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, in Nice, on Monday 9 June. This seminar is officially part of the UN Ocean Conference (UNOC3) and will focus on protecting and sustainably managing our ocean and coasts. We will explore and showcase innovative solutions that are already making a difference - contributions supporting the global green transition and help to advance the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 14 (SDG14).
The seminar is followed by a networking mingle.

Panel 1: From innovation to implementation – powering the circular transformation
Brief introduction on current state and challenges of marine litter and pollution of the ocean and coasts by Heidi Savelli-Söderberg, Chief, Source to Sea Pollution Unit, United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
Moderated discussion with a panel of experts about how to accelerate the achievements of SDG-14 and existing solutions to reduce marine pollution, from circular economy technologies for effective recovery of nitrogen in wastewater and recovery of phosphorus from sewage, to removal of pollution from industrial water and hydrofoiling electrified boats and ferries.
