Noda Technologies develops advanced sensing and control systems that bring real-time observability to aluminium smelters, transforming them into intelligent, energy-flexible assets within the power grid. Our patented anodic current-sensor platform captures the cell’s internal state—its kinetic and thermodynamic behaviour—enabling predictive control and safe adaptation to variable energy conditions.

This innovation future-proofs one of the world’s most energy-intensive industries. By improving process predictability, safety, and workforce efficiency, it helps smelters prepare for a more dynamic energy landscape shaped by electrification, new baseload competitors such as AI datacentres and semiconductor manufacturing, and evolving grid interconnections.

By linking industrial competitiveness with energy-system resilience, Noda Technologies supports a more balanced and efficient electrified society. The approach strengthens operational stability, reduces risk, and builds readiness for upcoming flexibility and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) frameworks.
