This side event at the Conference of Parties 28 aims to highlight the pivotal role of youth in Africa and Europe in advancing the Energy Transition and Climate Justice. It will showcase the collaborative efforts of the Youth Sustainable Development Network and JET ESCP in crafting a white paper that addresses the unique challenges and opportunities in both continents, while also offering a global perspective. Additionally, the event will critically examine the partnerships between the European Union (EU) and the African Union (AU) concerning energy and climate, with the goal of making these partnerships more impactful for both regions.
