At the UNFCCC climate conference in Addis Ababa on September 6, a theme was dedicated to exploring how circular transformation can boost the world's potential to fulfil the ambitions set in the Paris Agreement. At COP30, two sessions have been held that demonstrate a total of five different circular solutions that are possible to scale, and each of them reduces climate impact while producing resources, like food, that are much needed for a growing population.

As part of the roundtable, we will discuss how to support countries in incorporating circular solutions into their NDCs, what is required from different stakeholders to facilitate the much-needed transformation, and how this will enable us to reduce the risk of overshooting the other 8 planetary boundaries as well. How can this also be an important part of the final negotiating text?
