Welcome to the grand opening of the Swedish Pavilion!At COP30, stakeholders gather with a shared ambition: to turn NDCs into action. This high-level ceremony will explore how that ambition can be realized.The inauguration marks the opening of a space dedicated to collaboration and transformative climate action and pays tribute to the solutions that already exist across all sectors of the economy – solutions that can move us from pledges to implementation. Aligned with the COP30 Action Agenda, government leaders, business executives, financial institutions, academia, and civil society will contribute insights and solutions to address the goal conflicts of the climate crisis and enhance the actionability and investability of NDCs, while fostering resilience, job creation, and long-term prosperity.As part of Sweden’s commitment to serve as a climate matchmaker for global action, the ceremony offers a unique opportunity to connect with interconnecting stakeholders and provides an insightful preview of key themes and events in the Swedish Pavilion throughout the conference.We look forward to welcoming you to the inauguration and invite you to join us in making the green transition the greatest collaboration in human history.

On the occasion of the Inauguration day of the Swedish Pavilion at COP30 in Belém, the Embassy of Sweden in Brazil and Business Sweden are pleased to invite you to a networking reception with the Swedish COP30 Business Delegation and distinguished guests.

This session will focus on how this can be done with several concrete examples, but also demonstrate how the ERI Climate Solutions certification, which is also linked on the UN Race to Zero framework, can boost the transformation.

This session brings together leading industry actors and international organisations to discuss how public and private collaboration across the value chain can accelerate the scale-up of fossil-free and low- and zero-emission products and solutions in industry and transport.

The Multilevel Governance Summit will bring together governments, cities, industries, and financiers to accelerate circular and resilient transitions through stronger coordination across governance levels. Bring together relevant players from the energy sector to discuss ways to scale and replicate the hydrogen technology already available for gas turbines to other markets/projects worldwide.

Together, we’ll discuss pathways to unlock scale for technologies and models that accelerate the global sustainability transition.

Organized by Energy Efficiency Movement and Alfa Laval.This high-level roundtable brings together decision-makers from governments, industry, finance, and international organizations to deepen the focus on accelerating energy efficiency implementation. The conversation will center on unlocking effective public-private collaboration to drive collective, scalable action. 

Flexible thermal generation is key to expanding renewables and ensuring system resilience. Ethanol-fueled gas turbines show strong potential for Brazil’s energy market. 

The summit will convene stakeholders from business, academia, and the public sector to define measurable clean energy frameworks, strengthen grid literacy and capacity, and advance stable policy with sound regulatory reforms. The program will feature best practices and real-world cases discussed in a panel format by executives from leading Swedish companies and enablers – including EKN, SIDA, AFRY, Ingrid Capacity, SSAB, E.ON , Minesto, SKF, EQT, Flower and Scania. 

With the transformation of our energy systems, the resilience of supply chains supporting grid infrastructure is under growing pressure. 

Bi-directional charging can play a role in enhancing grid stability, supporting renewable energy integration, and increasing overall system flexibility. 

Join the International Climate Councils Network for the launch of a new report produced by its Mitigation Working Group, which is currently focused on Food, Land and Agriculture. In this event, climate councils share best-practice examples of policy interventions that transform our food, land and agriculture sector so that it contributes to emissions reduction and is more resilient to climate impacts.
