Swedish German Food Export Accelerator

During the fall, Business Sweden organizes the Swedish German Food Export Accelerator, offering Swedish food and beverage companies a unique opportunity to directly engage with distributors and retailers in the German market and seize opportunities in Europe's largest food and beverage market. As part of the official Try Swedish export program, the accelerator is designed to connect Swedish companies with key stakeholders, with the aim of identifying concrete business opportunities, gaining market insights, and understanding consumer trends and market entry pathways.

Besides receiving individual, company-specific insights on the German market, participating companies will be invited to be part of the curated delegation to Hamburg, Germany on 1-2 October 2026.

Why join?

  • Individual, company-specific preparations to enter the German food & beverage market
  • Direct dialogues with retailers and distributors, including relevant buyer/procurement functions
  • Opportunities to present/pitch products to key decision-makers in retail and distribution
  • Knowledge sharing and insights from local market experts
  • Guidance on positioning and procurement pathways, as well as strategic advice on the next steps for market entry

The preliminary program can be found under a separate tab above. More information will be shared upon registration.
