Öresundskraft is a municipally owned energy company in the cities of Helsingborg, Ängelholm operating district heating systems, with extensive underground infrastructure and pipe networks from the 1960s–1970s. The company integrates district heating with electricity and waste-to-energy solutions in a region with constrained power capacity around the Öresund area. The study visit includes an underground tour and insights into extending the lifetime of long-serving pipe systems.
Join us for a discussion on how to secure a 100-year service life for new and existing district heating pipe networks through improved design, operation, and maintenance practices. The session brings together Swedish district heating experts and international participants facing similar infrastructure challenges.
