Business Sweden hosted its second physical Agri-Food Tech Delegation in Singapore last year from November 1st to 3rd. The delegation aimed to explore business opportunities and ecosystem collaborations in Southeast Asia's agriculture and food technology sector. This event coincided with the Agri-Food Tech Expo Asia 2023 at Sands Expo and Convention Centre, featuring over 200 exhibitors from 15 countries and drawing over 6,000 attendees, including regional participants from Malaysia, China, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, Vietnam, South Korea, and India. Additionally, Business Sweden organized a program to engage with key stakeholders, venture capitalists, and business incubators to accelerate market entry for participating companies, offering opportunities to showcase solutions and discuss potential collaborations within Asia's Agri-Food Tech ecosystem.
Kicked off the delegation with a Briefing on Singapore & Delegation and Kickoff Lunch.
Visited local Singaporean startups including Nurasa, AAK, Koh Fah Hydroponics Farm, and Republic Polytechnic, each contributing to innovation in various sectors such as food technology, sustainable agriculture, and education.
