Delegation Program

The program will be finalized based on the composition of the delegation, stakeholder availability and participating companies’ priorities. The agenda below is indicative and subject to change. Activities, hosts and formats will be confirmed as the program develops.

Day 1

Welcome briefing by Business Sweden
Group meetings and discussions with pharmaceutical and healthcare stakeholders
Visit to the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park (HSITP)
Ecosystem briefings and discussions with innovation organizations

Day 2

Meetings with biotech-focused investors, including company presentations and investor dialogue

Free Weekend | 6–7 March 2027

Following the Hong Kong program, participants may choose to remain in Hong Kong or travel to Shanghai at their own discretion before the official Shanghai program begins on 8 March.

This period falls outside the official delegation program. Arrangements and expenses during the weekend, including travel between Hong Kong and Shanghai, are not included.

Engagement with pharmaceutical R&D stakeholders
Discussions with Chinese biotech ecosystem participants
Visit to Zhangjiang Biotech Park

Day 4 | 9 March

Discussions with biotech companies and ecosystem stakeholders
Engagement with legal, IP and transaction specialists
Discussions on collaboration structures, intellectual property and partnership models
Networking lunch hosted by the Consulate General of Sweden in Shanghai
Scheduled group transfer to Suzhou

BioChina 2027 | Suzhou | 10–12 March 2027

Days 5–7

Each participating company will receive one personalized BioChina Partnering Pass for one designated representative, providing access to BioChina and its official partnering platform.

Participation in BioChina 2027 for the designated pass holder, including access to conference sessions, industry forums and the BioChina exhibition
Participation in the coordinated Swedish presence at BioChina
Pavilion-related activities if a shared Swedish pavilion is confirmed
Access to BioChina’s official partnering platform for the designated pass holder
Opportunity to identify organizations of interest and submit meeting requests
Potential one-to-one meetings where requests are accepted by counterparties

Additional BioChina passes for other company representatives are not included and must be purchased separately.

Submission of a meeting request does not guarantee that a meeting will take place. Meetings are subject to mutual interest, acceptance and availability.

Target Stakeholder Types

The stakeholder program will be developed based on the composition and priorities of the delegation, as well as stakeholder relevance, interest and availability.

The following stakeholder types are illustrative and do not represent confirmed meetings or participating organizations:

Investors and industry partners, including life science investors, pharmaceutical companies and biotechnology companies
Research and innovation stakeholders, including universities, research institutes, science parks, biotech clusters and innovation platforms
Industry experts and professional advisers, including specialists in intellectual property, partnering, transactions, financing and relevant industry developments

Specific organizations and engagements will be confirmed as the program develops and remain subject to stakeholder interest and availability.
