BioChina 2027 

As part of the delegation, participating companies will attend BioChina 2027, one of China's largest biotechnology industry events.

BioChina brings together biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical organizations, investors, researchers, service providers and innovation leaders from across the life science value chain. The event combines industry forums, partnering activities, networking events and a large-scale exhibition, creating a platform for knowledge exchange and relationship building.

BioChina has become one of China's leading partnering platforms for the biotechnology sector, attracting organizations seeking collaboration, licensing, investment and innovation opportunities.

BioChina 2025 attracted:

  • More than 1,800 partnering meetings initiated through the event platform

BioChina 2027 will take place from 10-12 March 2027 at the Suzhou International Expo Center.

In addition to the conference and exhibition, BioChina provides a dedicated partnering platform that allows registered participants to identify relevant organizations and submit meeting requests directly through the event system.

The platform creates opportunities to connect with investors, pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, research organizations and service providers attending the event.

Meeting requests submitted through the platform are subject to acceptance by the receiving party. Any resulting meeting is subject to mutual interest and participant availability. Neither BioChina, Business Sweden nor SwedenBIO can guarantee that a meeting request will be accepted or that any individual meeting will take place.

Participating Swedish companies will benefit from a coordinated SwedenBIO and Business Sweden presence at the event. If a sufficient number of companies join the delegation, this presence may include a shared Swedish pavilion. The pavilion is not guaranteed and will be confirmed only after registration closes.

If confirmed, the shared Swedish pavilion will serve as a platform to:

  • Increase visibility among Chinese and international stakeholders
  • Provide a common meeting point for delegation participants and event attendees

While BioChina takes place in Suzhou, the delegation's stakeholder engagement activities will primarily be centered around Hong Kong and Shanghai, complemented by participation in BioChina.
