Organized by Energy Efficiency Movement and Alfa Laval.Accelerating energy efficiency is one of the most effective strategies to reduce global emissions. At COP28, countries committed to increasing annual progress from two to four percent by 2030. 

Bring together relevant players from the energy sector to discuss ways to scale and replicate the hydrogen technology already available for gas turbines to other markets/projects worldwide.

This session will explore how circular transformation can help us reach the ambitions set out in the Paris Agreement, with a view towards identifying actions needed to enable our world to stay within the borders of our planetary boundaries.

The Multilevel Governance Summit will bring together governments, cities, industries, and financiers to accelerate circular and resilient transitions through stronger coordination across governance levels. Building on Sweden’s leadership in advancing a circular and fossil-free economy, the Summit will showcase practical solutions and policy models that link national commitments with local and industrial action.The programme features opening remarks by H.E. Karin Wallensteen, Ambassador of Sweden to Brazil, followed by two high-level panels and two thematic roundtables:

This roundtable convenes industry leaders, international organisations, and government representatives to explore how public and private collaboration across the value chain can unlock demand and scale up the decarbonised solutions we need – fossil-free materials, low-emission industrial products, and low- and zero-emission transport. 

Join us for a discussion on how Brazil is well positioned to lead the world in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). 

This session brings together leading industry actors and international organisations to discuss how public and private collaboration across the value chain can accelerate the scale-up of fossil-free and low- and zero-emission products and solutions in industry and transport. 

This session will focus on how this can be done with several concrete examples, but also demonstrate how the ERI Climate Solutions certification, which is also linked on the UN Race to Zero framework, can boost the transformation.
