Site visits on 18 November

On 18 November, Business Sweden, together with PAIH and partners, is arranging site visits aligned with the key themes highlighted during the Business Summit. These include the decarbonisation of the energy matrix, sustainable infrastructure, digitalisation as an enabler, and defence.

More information on these site visits, including agenda and practicalities, will be shared in due tome. For now, kindly find descriptions of each alternative:


Ericsson, Kista, Stockholm

Step into the heart of Sweden’s digital innovation ecosystem. Learn how 5G, and in the future, 6G connectivity, is the foundation for the digitalisation of Polish enterprises, government and consumer applications and a critical building block for wide scale AI adoption. The Ericsson Imagine Studio is a state-of-the-art customer briefing and experience center showcasing the very latest high technology connectivity solutions and interactive real time use cases to demonstrate how 5G connectivity along with AI and Cloud is applied for Mobile and Mission Critical Networks and its role in digitalising Societies and Enterprises. The visit will begin with a welcome coffee at 08:30 at Ericsson’s Imagine Studio (Grönlandsgatan 8, Kista, Stockholm). The official program will start at 09:00 and is scheduled to conclude by 15:00.

Siemens Energy, Finspång

Explore one of Sweden’s key hubs for energy innovation at Siemens Energy’s largest facility in Europe, located in Finspång. With over 110 years of cutting-edge expertise in power technology, Siemens Energy is a global leader in the development of industrial gas turbines and a driving force in the transition to a decarbonised energy system.

The visit will begin at 08:00, with transportation from Cityterminalen (Stockholm Central Bus Station). Make sure to arrive at least 10 min before departure to find the exact departure gate. In the afternoon, the visit will conclude at 15:15 in Finspång, from where direct transportation to Arlanda airport is arranged to arrive in time for the 19:30 departure to Warsaw (ARN–WAW).

Sustainable Infrastructure Projects, Stockholm

Explore Stockholm’s flagship urban redevelopment projects – the Slussen area and the Meatpacking District – showcasing Sweden’s approach to sustainable mobility, water management, and urban regeneration.

The visit concludes with a networking lunch and seminar at United Spaces Waterfront featuring presentations by Stockholm Business Region, White Arkitekter, NYAB, Hellström Advokatbyrå, and Prof. Michał Wolański (SGH Warsaw School of Economics), followed by a panel discussion on sustainable infrastructure in Poland and Sweden.

Saab, Linköping

Known as the Aviation capital of Sweden, Linköping is home to amongst others the worlds most advanced AEW&C GlobalEye and the Game changing fighter aircraft Gripen. You will get to explore one of Saab’s key facilities, where cutting-edge technologies in aerospace and defence are developed to strengthen national and European security. The visit will provide insights into Saab’s role in advancing innovation, resilience, and strategic autonomy through high-tech solutions and collaborative defence capabilities.

The visit will begin with transportation from Hilton Stockholm Slussen hotel at 08:00 and conclude approximately 15:00 in Linköping. Direct transportation from Linköping to Arlanda airport will be offered. Delegates travelling to Poland are advised to book an evening flight on 18 November, such as the 19:30 departure from Stockholm Arlanda to Warsaw (ARN–WAW), to allow sufficient time for travel from Linköping to Stockholm.
