As part of the roundtable, we will discuss how to support countries in incorporating circular solutions into their NDCs, what is required from different stakeholders to facilitate the much-needed transformation, and how this will enable us to reduce the risk of overshooting the other 8 planetary boundaries as well. How can this also be an important part of the final negotiating text?

This half-day summit, convened by Business Sweden and leading Swedish companies, aims to spotlight the transformation of agrifood systems through innovation, collaboration, and human-centered solutions. The event will feature exclusive sessions, high-level stakeholder engagement, and a showcase of scalable solutions across the agrifood value chain. It will also highlight the human cost of inaction and the urgency of building resilience in food systems. 

This session will convene key stakeholders from the public, private, and financial sectors to identify concrete pathways for scaling proven, high-impact solutions that decarbonize food systems and reduce food loss and waste. 

Highlight the loss of biodiversity and ecosystems as a strategic risk for business, the economy, and society, rather than a peripheral environmental issue.

Organised by: Act Church of Sweden, Swedish Society for Nature Conservation, and The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation. The focus on reducing emissions has too often overlooked the needs of those most affected by climate change. Women and gender-diverse people are often excluded from climate policy decisions and implementation, despite that climate change is worsening gender inequalities and gender-based violence.
